Yes, we safely landed in Manila almost two weeks ago – and were kept safe from the dreaded H1N1 virus
Thanks so much to all of you who prayed for our safe travel!
And another resounding “YES” for ticking off the following from my Pinas “To Do” list:
- Being able to visit Baguio again after so many years
- Binge-ing on Jollibee’s Double Yum with Cheese whenever I want (*insert evil laughter here*)
- Getting my massage, facial and salon treatments at long last – yipee, I feel human again!
- Being “officially” reconciled with my God after two long years through a long-overdue confession
Apologies for letting you settle with “bullets” for now… As you very well know, being back home means letting my cyberlife take a back seat as I relish actually being “immersed” in living my “Manila” life.
I promise to fill you in on the details…uhm…in two months perhaps? Hahaha!
In the meantime, apart from the sad reality of being temporarily separated from my better half for most of the duration of our home leave
, I can definitely say that… happy days are here again!
To celebrate, join me as I drink to my abaya-less existence for the next two months or so with a much-missed favorite that, needless to say, I am now savoring to the max as much as I can…

More Pinas-related posts soon… ABANGAN!
